How the scheme operates

Approved Training Providers (ATPs) and Approved Training Establishments(ATEs)

If you would like to apply to join the ATP/ATE Scheme please complete the appropriate Application Form given below and return it to either John Oakley oakley@joaonline.co.uk for Food, Packaging and Storage & Distribution applications or Suky Allan suky.allan@brc.org.uk for the Consumer Products applications. You will then contact you once your application has been reviewed.

All Approved Training Providers within an Approved Training Establishment should meet the relevant criteria (given below)

Successful applicants must meet the criteria as set out below and also attend and pass the appropriate BRC Train The Trainer course.  Once they have been approved they will become eligible to deliver training courses on behalf of the BRC against the appropriate Global Standard. Attending and passing the Train The Trainer course ensures a consistent and effective approach is applied in delivering the BRC training courses.

Successful individuals are licensed on an annual basis and enjoy the full backing of the BRC. They are provided with a tutor manual and all training materials to carry out BRC training courses. In addition, individuals will be able to use the prestigious ATP Logo on all their communication materials. We also publish their details on the BRC Global Standards website so people wishing to attend a BRC training course can make direct contact to book the course.
