Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 5 – Interpretation Guideline

This publication provides guidance on how to obtain certification to the 'BRC Global Standard for Food Safety', as well as on the implementation of individual requirements of the Standard across all industry sectors. The guideline discusses the principles behind each of the requirements clause-by-clause, assisting companies towards effective and consistent implementation.

Also included is discussion on how to prepare for a BRC audit, what to expect during the audit, and what actions are required following an audit in order to maintain certification are also covered.
